ProxLeads Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ProxLeads collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information in connection with its website, lead-generation services, lead packages, pay-per-lead pilots, customer onboarding, CRM access, payment checkout, and support communications.
1. Information ProxLeads collects
ProxLeads may collect information provided by contractor businesses, website visitors, potential homeowner leads, and service providers. This may include names, company names, business and mobile phone numbers, email addresses, service areas, ZIP codes, crew size, service interests, package selections, communications, support records, and information needed to provide or evaluate a lead opportunity.
For a potential homeowner Lead, information may include contact details, property address or general location, requested service category, stated timing, roof or gutter information, and other information voluntarily provided or lawfully obtained for lead qualification. ProxLeads does not intentionally request sensitive personal information unless necessary for a disclosed, lawful purpose.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. ProxLeads does not receive or store complete card numbers or bank-account credentials from the payment processor.
2. How ProxLeads uses information
ProxLeads uses information to operate the website and Services; verify contractor businesses; match, qualify, and deliver Leads; process payments; provide customer support; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain records; measure performance; improve its Services; and comply with legal obligations.
ProxLeads may use contractor business-contact information to respond to inquiries and to send operational communications about the Services. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted by law. Recipients may use the opt-out instructions in a message or contact ProxLeads to stop non-essential marketing communications.
3. How ProxLeads discloses information
ProxLeads discloses a potential homeowner Lead’s relevant contact and opportunity information to the purchasing contractor assigned to that Lead so the contractor can contact the homeowner and provide the requested service. ProxLeads assigns an exclusive Lead record to one purchasing contractor through ProxLeads during the applicable lead-delivery period, as described in the Terms of Service.
ProxLeads may also disclose information to payment processors, cloud hosting providers, customer-support tools, communications vendors, analytics providers, professional advisers, and service providers that process information on ProxLeads’ behalf. These parties may use the information only to provide services to ProxLeads or as required by law.
ProxLeads may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ProxLeads, its customers, Leads, or the public. ProxLeads may disclose information in connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or acquisition, subject to applicable law.
ProxLeads does not sell or rent Lead records to competing contractors during the applicable exclusive lead-delivery period.
For active customers, ProxLeads may use GoHighLevel or another CRM service provider to manage customer onboarding, Lead status, and relevant homeowner communication. ProxLeads may provide a purchasing contractor’s authorized users role-based access to the contractor’s customer-specific workspace so they can view information associated with their assigned Leads. ProxLeads does not provide a contractor access to another contractor’s records or to data outside the contractor’s assigned Leads.
4. Caller and contractor responsibilities
Contractors receiving a Lead are independent businesses and are responsible for their own privacy notices, security safeguards, marketing practices, licensing, customer communications, and legal compliance. Contractors must use Lead information only to evaluate and provide the requested service, protect it from unauthorized access, honor applicable opt-outs, and not sell, rent, publish, or use it for unrelated marketing.
ProxLeads does not control a contractor’s independent handling of a Lead after delivery. Questions about a contractor’s services or privacy practices should be directed to that contractor.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The ProxLeads website may use cookies, pixels, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies to operate the site, understand site use, remember preferences, measure advertising performance, and protect against fraud. Visitors may control certain cookies through browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some website functions.
ProxLeads uses the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and to understand whether a website visitor submits a contractor application. The implementation sends a PageView and a completed-application event only; ProxLeads does not send application form fields, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or other contact details to Meta through these events. Visitors may manage applicable ad preferences through Meta and may limit certain technologies through their browser settings.
6. Data retention and security
ProxLeads retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and maintain business records. Retention periods may vary depending on the information and the purpose for which it was collected.
ProxLeads uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Individuals should avoid sending payment-card details or other sensitive information through unsecured channels.
7. Choices and requests
A person may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by ProxLeads, subject to applicable law and legitimate business, fraud-prevention, legal, and recordkeeping needs. A person may also request to opt out of non-essential marketing communications or ask that ProxLeads not contact a specific telephone number for marketing purposes.
To make a request, email dillon@proxleads.biz. ProxLeads may need to verify identity before completing a request.
8. Children’s information
The Services are intended for adult business users and adult property contacts. ProxLeads does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If ProxLeads learns that it collected such information without appropriate authorization, it will take reasonable steps to delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
ProxLeads may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised policy will carry a new effective date. Material changes will be posted on the ProxLeads website or communicated where required by law.
